Frequently Asked Question’s

Question      -  What time do doors open?

Answer         - Doors open at 5pm on shows days as long as sound check is completed. Dance nights doors open at 6:30pm.

Question      - Do you have food?

Answer         - Yes, our kitchen opens at 5pm on show days, & 6:30 on dance days. Please see the menu under the food tab or under the fork & knife symbol on the home page.

Question      - Do you sell alcohol?

Answer     - No, we do not sell alcohol, however you are welcome to bring your own in moderation - (moderation is determined by a person’s impact on other guests)

Question      - Am I allowed to bring a cooler & picnic?

Answer        - Yes, you are allowed to bring a cooler &/or food. Your cooler must fit under your chair or stay in your space if you are in section C. (please be courteous of others & their space)

Question      - Are pets allowed?

Answer         - No pets are not allowed at or around the barn (Music Ranch), however if your pets travel with you, they must remain in your vehicle at all times, & when they need to be walked, they must be on a leash in the designated areas & picked up after immediately & the waste must be disposed of properly.

Question      - Do you allow overnight parking or camping?

Answer        - We allow overnight RV parking or tenting on the show nights only in the designated areas.

Question      - Are there hotels nearby?

Answer         - Livingston is located 9 miles North of Music Ranch, they have numerous hotels & RV parks to choose from, Chico Hot Springs in located approx 15 miles South of Music Ranch & KOA is 3 miles South & Rivers Edge RV Park is approx. 9 miles South.

Question      - Do I need to purchase tickets in advance for shows & dances?

Answer         - We recommend purchasing tickets in advance for shows, however tickets can be purchased at the door provided Sections A, B, & C are not full. Please note section A typically fills up fast. Dance tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.

Question      - What is an average show & dance length?

Answer      - Most shows do not have an opening act & they are typically 90 minutes or more. Dances are usually 2 hours or more.

Question      - What is the sound quality outside?

Answer        - Sound quality is great outside due to the 4 large speakers located in the dormers just above the lawn terraces.

Question      - Do I need to bring my own chair?

Answer     - Sections A & B have chairs provided! Section C needs to bring their own chair or blanket to sit on.

Question      -  What if it rains or snows?

Answer      - The show goes on rain or shine; the stage is in undercover – be prepared for any Montana weather - tickets are non-refundable.
